RTA announces Service Changes

These RTA service changes begin Sunday, February 3, 2008:

 

Route 2 –Times will be adjusted between the Northwest Hub and Third and Broadway weekdays for better on-time performance.

Route 9 –Times will be adjusted slightly on all weekday, Saturday and Sunday trips for better on-time performance.

Route 11 – One outbound and one inbound trip will be added to CAM weekdays at 12:14 p.m.and 12:22 p.m.

Route 12 –The layover will be moved to Good Samaritan Hospital after serving Valerie Arms Drive. Weekday times will be adjusted slightly at midday and in the afternoon peak hours to improve on-time performance.

Route 14 – Saturday and Sunday times between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. will be adjusted. Trips will alternate to Whispering Drive and Sparks Drive on Saturdays between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. to improve on-time performance. The route will be streamlined via Shiloh Springs Road to the Northwest Hub in both directions instead of Salem Avenue to Denlinger Road.

Route 16 – The route will be streamlined by scheduling the layover on Smith Drive near Hoke Road. There will be no deviation to the loop at Smith Drive. Service will be removed from the Meijer parking lot on Route 48 on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and times will be adjusted from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for better on-time performance. Times will be adjusted slightly on Sundays for better on-time performance.

Route 17
– Saturday and Sunday times will be adjusted slightly, and Saturday midday trips will shift three minutes earlier southbound for better on-time performance.

Route 18 – Times will be adjusted slightly weekday, Saturday and Sunday to improve on-time performance.

Route 19
– Times will be adjusted slightly weekday, Saturday and Sunday to improve on-time performance.

Route 24 – Westbound State Route 725 routing will divert to Water Tower Lane across from Byers Road.

Route 32– Times will be adjusted weekdays, and afternoon peak frequencies will change from 60 to 65 minutes for better on-time performance.

Route 60– Weekday afternoon trips will be adjusted from 2 to 6 p.m. to improve the connection with Route 23 at the South Hub.
